‘🖥️ starts a screensaver after timeout milliseconds of inactivity on your site’

If you care to see a demo, I’ve implemented this script at bulltown, set to activate after 90,000 milliseconds (90 seconds) of inactivity. That means no mouse movement, no keys pressed, and no scrolling, so please be prepared to chill (or do anything else you like in other tabs or windows) for 90 seconds after the site loads. Quick and easy to install and customize – I like it! 😎

List: Fediverse and/or RSS

  • Mastodon Feeds – Open RSS [mikael]
“You can get an RSS feed for any Mastodon user by simply navigating to the user’s page on Mastodon and adding before the instance’s domain of the URL in your browser bar.”
  • Fedi.Tips: “RSS fans!
“You can follow any Mastodon account via RSS by just adding “.rss” to the end of the account’s public profile URL.”

Joe’s comment: I prefer the Open RSS versions of the feeds.

  • What makes RSS better than social timelines?
Joe’s comment: An interesting point of view.
  • RSS Box (github) [mikael]
“This website lets you subscribe to RSS feeds for websites that do not support RSS themselves, by using the respective website’s API and then translating that data to RSS feeds.”
