the dailywebthing archives
the dailywebthing archives was established in April, 2023. This site contains all content from the dailywebthing linkport and dailywebthing daily pointers, both of which were discontinued that month. Link validation is carried out regularly to assure a positive browsing experience for our users.
What remains are thousands of validated links to diversions, resources, and other links in a number of categories. Explore and enjoy!
Please visit the i.webthings hub for newly-curated links - the hub is updated 2-3 times weekly. –joe jenett

‘Dark Sky’ users (while it lasted) might like this web-only weather app
Note: The app uses data from Pirate Weather – ‘A weather forecast API, built as a compatible alternative to the Dark Sky API.’ Unfortunately, Pirate Weather’s sign-up functionality as well as its section of API-related information appeared to be broken when I visited (hoping to use its API for one of my projects).
But I do think Merry Sky works well and feels much like Dark Sky visually.
